The Gambia's people

The Gambia's people

The Gambia’s population is shaped by the different tribes that still maintain their languages and traditions. In time, you will be able to distinguish the members of the different ethnic groups from each other.

Everyday life with road traffic and colourful markets, with children’s school uniforms and sometimes adventurous means of transport seems colourful, exotic and chaotic to the visitor. But if you get involved, you will also be fascinated by it!
